Work that I have undertaken includes:

• guiding and supporting students in undergraduate and postgraduate university applications from around the world, including the UK e.g. placed in Cambridge and Oxford, Imperial College, LSE, UCL, King's, medical schools, art foundation schools and music courses;

• providing career guidance to young people to support their career and course decisions;

• mentoring careers professionals to improve their practice and confidence;

• training and assessing Careers Leaders for the Career Development Institute Academy;

• advising and assessing schools and colleges for the Quality in Careers Standard;

• writing the Career Development Institute’s briefing paper on career action planning

• writing primary school careers materials for the Career Development Institute and John Lewis Partnership;

• writing a toolkit for careers leaders for CASCAID;

• auditing careers education and providing support to schools and colleges, previously as a county careers education manager;

• evaluating the matrix guidance standard with a research company as part of a BIS contract;

• providing consultancy to employer education partnerships;

• running career planning workshops with parents and students;

• training and assessing careers leaders for their level 6 qualifications.
